Memories

Here is a totally different game of tag. A good friend of mine, Holly, had this on her blog and it looks like fun!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Hmmmm what memories do I have? Let me just say that as far back as I can remember, you've been right there with me. There's the memory of vaccuming up your hair, your beautiful self on your wedding day, your beautiful, but worn-out self on the day Coop was born...the list goes on and on. I am so very glad and thankful Heavenly Father put us in the same family. Thank you for being my oh-so-wonderful big sis and my next to Kit best friend (ok, you're tied, with him, but let's just let him think he's the only BFF I have ;) ) I love you!!

Um, I don't know if you want me to bring this up, but I used to laugh my head off when your dad would call your hair "Ferengi hair". It was back in high school when you were always crashing in that big blue car you had. That was really smart of your parents to get you that giant thing -- for safety purposes:) Regardless of the hair, you have always been a super beautiful girl and woman, and the outside matches the inside!

That's funny you brought that up, because my Mom and I were just talking about that! I have TONS of memories with you (obviously) but I was thinking about homecoming (I can't remember if it was Junior or sophomore, it must have been sophomore) when you went with that rude Austrailian kid and I went with Nick. What a disaster those two were!

I was also telling my mom the other day how in high school you had to tape your clothes shut because your boobs were too big (I'm having the same problem now)!

LOL! Nate's comment reminded me of your crashing into a mailbox in your car and sliding around the corner in that boat in Hyde Park! That thing really took a beating!

I feel like I've gotten to know you better on the blogworld than in "real life", but one memory of you is that every single time I saw you - you looked amazing. Your hair was always in place, make-up done exceptionally well, and you wore something very classy. That's my memory. :o)

One memory I have is when we went to girl's camp in Bear Lake and we got a huge tent but the zipper didn't work and we got in our sleeping bags are started steam rolling each other. I remember we did a lot of laughing that week.

all the "buttum" convo at my showers pretty fresh still. and the famous stephanie "scoff and head turn" when we tell you how adorable you are...did you know you do that?

Like lib, it's hard to remember a childhood memory where you aren't in it. I had particularly poignant memories of taping family videos back in Kentucky where you and I were always competing for the spotlight. Where's Lib? Oh, wait-there she is...hiding behind the plant ;)

What a fun idea! My memory is coming to Sky View my senior year so scared I wasn't going to make any friends, and you and Holly Meikle and Michelle Sparks just took me under your wing. I thought you were the coolest people I had ever hung out with! I remember driving around Cliffside checking out all the big houses and doing the band thing. You were always so fun to be around!

The only thing I remember most is your super blonde hair and thinking man I really need to try and do my hair and makeup more! You were always so dolled up. Then there was the time Lib and I had a sleepover and you had Holly sleep over and I'm pretty sure you two were the ones being loud but Lib and I got the pounding on the floor from your parents! JK!

Hey Stephanie, I found your blog through friends and have really enjoyed your posts. I remember when you graciously watched Merilee when I had to go back to school. I still can't believe you were willing to do that when Greyson was just 5 months old. One day he was sick and just threw up all over you and the floor. I felt bad for you that day because I know Merilee was just adding more stress. You helped me out so much during that time when funds and friends were lacking. Thank you again for your service!

Hi Steph, I found your blog through Annie's. I've not attempted to do my own yet. My memory of you and Phil together is from my reception... Phil sang 'i just want to grow old with you. I don't remember if it was that same night or the next week he told me he just thought of you the whole time he was singing it and wished he could of gotten in front of you while singing!!! PS--love your blog (i'm so not computer savvy--had to call dan to tell me how to post a comment)
